Reading the Bible
The Bible is a compilation of 66 books, written by 40 different authors in a span of 1600 years, in over a dozen countries on 3 different continents, in 3 languages, by people from all walks of life. And yet from beginning to end, from Genesis to Revelation, there’s one common theme woven throughout: God loves you and desires a relationship with you. So much, in fact, that He sent His one and only son, Jesus, to make that relationship possible.
Reading the Bible can feel intimidating, but it is God’s Word spoken to you because He cares for you. We don’t have to wonder what God desires from us and for us, it’s written in this book. We don’t have to wonder how to handle life’s difficulties, the answers are found in these pages.
We don’t have to wonder how to receive forgiveness of our sin and new life, the Bible clearly points out the way. And when we open the pages of this book, something powerful happens. God transforms our lives and speaks to us through His Word. In fact, nothing has the power to shape and mold our lives like God’s Word.
