We exist to reveal the hope of Jesus and one of the best ways we know how to do that is through a relationship with our community. Here are some of our community partners that we team-up with multiple times a year for events like BackPack Attack, fundraisers, Easter Egg Hunts, and service projects. If you know of any organizations or work at an organization and would like to know more about becoming a community partner, or if you have any questions about our partners, please let us know at

Operation Stand Down

"Operation Stand Down Rhode Island's mission is to help homeless and at-risk veterans secure stable housing as well as other assistance according to individual needs including case management, basic human needs, referrals, and education and employment services."

NorthPointe works closely with OSD many times throughout the year, but probably sees the most volunteers during their Stand Down Weekend. Stand Down Weekend is a three day outreach event which gathers homeless and low income vets from around Rhode Island and brings them to a military style encampment. While at Stand Down veterans may remain on the premises and are afforded access to services provided by OSDRI and longtime federal, state, and community partners. These services include meals, showers, sleeping quarters, all the way to optometrists and lawyers.

Boys & Girls Club in Cumberland - Lincoln

"The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Cumberland - Lincoln is 'to be a positive force in the growth and development of all youth of Cumberland-Lincoln, by providing leadership, guidance, and support with a wide range of educational and physical activities in an enjoyable and secure environment, where youth can develop character and the qualities of responsible citizenship."

NorthPointe hosts many activities at and with the Boys & Girls Club, most recently a Family Easter Egg Hunt that connected with over 60 people from the area. Each winter we host a dodgeball tournament and have also helped out with various service projects at the club.

"Thundermist's mission is simple: to improve the health of our patients and communities by delivering exceptional health care, removing barriers to that care and promoting healthy lifestyles."

Thundermist has facilities in three different communities in Rhode Island; Woonsocket, West Warwick, and South County. NorthPointe primarily focuses their services at the Thundermist in Woonsocket. In the Fall, we help gather backpacks and school supplies for a "BackPack Attack" program at Thundermist as well as assist with other need-based fundraisers such as winter clothes.

CareNet Pregnancy Resource Center

"CareNet Pregnancy Center of RI is a faith-based non profit organization that exists to serve women and men facing unplanned pregnancies. All of our services are confidential and free of charge. We offer free pregnancy testing, referrals for free ultrasounds, options counseling, parenting support and programs for men and women who have had abortions in their past."

CareNet is one of the newest community partners and we are excited to work with them! Most recently we had a baby bottle fundraiser that helped raise money for their new building after a fire damaged their previous one.
